Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man following a violent altercation in Budaiya on Sunday.
The men – both described as Asian and aged 25 and 28 – were apprehended within an hour of the incident, according to the Interior Ministry.
Investigations began immediately after the ministry received a report of the fight involving several individuals.
The General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Evidence identified the suspects and intercepted them as they attempted to flee the country via King Fahad Causeway.
A weapon believed to have been used in the crime was seized during the operation.
Legal proceedings are currently underway, the ministry confirmed yesterday.
