His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has commended Bahrain’s security forces for their continuous dedication to preserving national unity and defending the kingdom’s achievements, gains and its people.
The royal praise came during a meeting with senior officers at the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
His Majesty was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, alongside Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior officers.
He expressed his appreciation to the Commander-in-Chief for his efforts in advancing and developing the BDF.
The King also praised all members of the BDF, the National Guard, and the Interior Ministry for their efforts during the kingdom’s National Day celebrations, the 26th Anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne, and the Commemoration Day.
The brave members of the BDF also came in for praise for their sincere service in all their duty locations – both within the kingdom and abroad – and for their noble efforts to protect the nation, support its successful civilisational journey, and safeguard its national unity.
His Majesty highlighted their co-operation with other countries in promoting security and peace across the region, wishing all continued success and guidance.
