Kuwaiti authorities have detained a group of expatriate teenagers for reckless driving in the Jleeb Al Shuyoukh area.
The arrests are part of an intensified crackdown by the Ministry of Interior aimed at ensuring road safety and maintaining public order.
According to reports from the Arab Times, citing official sources, the Ministry has initiated deportation procedures against those involved for endangering public safety.
Security forces intervened after a video circulated on social media showing several Asian residents driving luxury vehicles irresponsibly. The group, reportedly students from a nearby private school, was celebrating the end of the academic semester.
Investigations revealed that the luxury cars had been rented. The individuals were taken into custody, and the vehicles were seized by authorities.
The Ministry reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards behaviour that threatens the lives of road users. It emphasised that security agencies will continue monitoring social media for traffic violations and will take firm legal action against offenders without leniency or exception.
