Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak chaired the regular meeting of the Co-operation Committee between the Capital Board of Trustees, municipal councils and government entities.
He highlighted the pivotal role undertaken by the board and municipal councils in supporting the development, progress and prosperity process.
The minister emphasised the importance of continuing to enhance frameworks of co-operation and co-ordination between government entities, the board and municipal councils.
This aims to ensure the integration of efforts in continuing the implementation of service projects and achieving the desired aspirations and objectives.
He also noted the keenness to continue adopting qualitative initiatives and the ideas and visions presented by municipal councils.
The meeting reviewed the road and sewerage projects plan in the Capital Governorate and the Muharraq Governorate, in addition to reviewing the latest developments related to the implementation of plans and projects in the Northern and Southern Governorates.
