A new executive committee has taken charge at the Bengal Cultural Society (BCS) Bahrain, a registered community association representing the diaspora from the Indian state of West Bengal. Known popularly as Bongo Sanskriti, the association also marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new office premises in Hoora. The committee is led by president Saikat Sarkar, with Suchanadan Mondal serving as vice-president. The executive team includes general secretary Dominic Manuel, treasurer Partho Chowdhury and Nilanjan Chakraborty, who takes on the dual role of convener and communication secretary. Further appointments include Deepak Kumar as administration secretary, Sanjib Chatterjee and Arundhati Chowdhury as membership secretaries, and Joy Sengupta as communication secretary. The festival portfolio will be managed by Prema Deb, while cultural activities will be overseen by Sanjana Roychowdhury and Mukta Chatterjee.
