Kuwait’s Criminal Court has sentenced two Indian expatriates to death for their involvement in an international drug trafficking network operating within the country.
The defendants were arrested following a major security operation targeting the illicit network. Authorities successfully thwarted the criminal plot, seizing large quantities of narcotics before they could be distributed in the local market.
The suspects were apprehended in the residential areas of Kaifan and Shuwaikh, where security forces discovered a substantial cache of illegal drugs in their possession. The seizure included 14 kilograms of heroin and 8kg of methamphetamine, locally known as Shabu, which were intended for distribution across Kuwait.
