The fifth annual Saudi Media Forum, scheduled to take place from February 2 to 4 under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will feature exceptional participation by more than 300 prominent media leaders from around the world.
The forum will host over 100 dialogue sessions, positioning it as a central platform for exploring the future of media in a rapidly changing global landscape. The major gathering reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s dynamic cultural and developmental momentum and its openness to global voices.
The forum will attract leading decision-makers and media professionals shaping the global media scene, with broad international participation from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Canada, and South Korea. The diverse participation underscores the forum’s standing as a global platform for media dialogue and the exchange of expertise.
The Saudi Media Forum serves as a leading national platform for media cooperation and exchange, fostering capacity building, encouraging innovation, and strengthening communication bridges locally and internationally. It aims to examine challenges and opportunities that contribute to the development of the media industry at both local and regional levels, while reflecting the Kingdom’s vibrant cultural and developmental landscape marked by specialised events and a spirit of openness.
The forum launched a package of specialised initiatives, including the Saudi Media Innovation Bootcamp (Saudi MIB), which focuses on the future technological dimensions of the media industry through intensive training camps and programs in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital media product development. It includes the “SMF GROW UP” initiative, targeting emerging media companies and entrepreneurs in production, digital platforms, and supporting media services.
The forum features the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX), a leading platform that brings together government entities and private-sector companies, both local and international. Exhibitor pavilions showcase the latest products and contributions in media, radio, and television. Alongside a dedicated presentation platform, the pavilions provide participants with opportunities to present their innovations and specialised services.
The “Launch Zone” stands out as a dynamic space enabling companies to unveil cutting-edge media technologies and establish strategic partnerships that help shape the future of the media ecosystem.
