Around 4,300 Bahraini citizens visited China, during the first nine months of 2025, Chinese Ambassador Ni Ruchi told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
This figure exceeded the total number of Bahraini visitors throughout 2024, which stood at approximately 3,600, he said.
Conversely, the number of Chinese tourists arriving in Bahrain increased by nearly 40 per cent during the same period, reflecting the rising interest in Bahrain as a tourism, cultural, and investment destination, the ambassador said.
He said these figures reflect the growing momentum in travel between Bahrain and China. The year 2025 also marked a pivotal milestone in China’s development journey as the country continued to build on its previous achievements for a more prosperous future, the ambassador added.
