An Asian expatriate wanted for allegedly embezzling company assets has been returned to Bahrain to face justice, the Interior Ministry has announced in a statement.
The suspect was extradited by the International Affairs and Interpol Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, in coordination with Public Prosecution and the Southern Police.
The action was carried out from an unspecified foreign country after the release of an international notice based on a local arrest warrant, issued by the Public Prosecution in Bahrain.
The suspect has been handed over to the relevant authorities.
