A new strategic plan to advance the economic empowerment of Bahraini women through training in artificial intelligence, digital marketing and other cutting-edge technologies was unveiled by Alwane Bahrain Society.
The 2026-2027 plan reflects the society’s proactive response to rapid changes in both local and global business environments in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Through this roadmap, the Society aims to strengthen women’s participation in national development while promoting sustainable financial independence.
The announcement followed the first meeting of the Society’s newly constituted board, chaired by Amal Janahi, vice chairperson Nader Al Ansari, secretary Yasmin Mufeed, treasurer Murtadha Al Mutawa, and board member Alia Rajab.
“The Society’s new strategy places digital transformation and technological innovation at the forefront of its priorities,” said Ms Janahi.
“In the coming phase, we will intensify field engagement and consultative meetings to ensure our support reaches all segments, particularly young female graduates aspiring to enter the freelance economy.”
Ms Janahi added that Alwane Bahrain is focused on building a solid base of female competencies capable of addressing economic challenges and translating ambitious ideas into viable projects on the ground.
