HIS Majesty King Hamad has emphasised Bahrain’s firm support for Lebanon’s stability.
He said the kingdom backs all measures the nation takes to preserve its security, unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that serve the interests of the Lebanese people.
The King commended the long-standing bilateral relations when he received Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al Hajjar at Sakhir Palace yesterday.
The Lebanese minister extended the greetings of President General Joseph Aoun and his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.
His Majesty welcomed Mr Al Hajjar and relayed greetings and best wishes to the Lebanese President and the people of Lebanon. He wished them further development and prosperity.
The King noted that such visits reflect a shared commitment to enhance co-ordination, particularly in the field of security, to achieve common benefit.
The Lebanese minister expressed gratitude to the King for the warm reception and hospitality, and commended Bahrain’s supportive stance towards Lebanon and its people under the leadership of His Majesty.
He also expressed Lebanon’s desire to enhance relations with Bahrain across various domains.
