Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa met Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdulla Ali Al Yahya.
Shaikh Khalid highlighted that Bahrain–Kuwait relations are a historic, deeply rooted strategic partnership, guided by His Majesty King Hamad and Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, reflecting strong brotherhood and close ties.
He described the Bahrain–Kuwait relationship as a model partnership, grounded in mutual commitment to advancing co-operation and strengthening joint GCC initiatives. He welcomed the Kuwaiti minister and delegation, commending Kuwait’s support, unity, and leadership in strategic infrastructure projects through the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED).
The Deputy Prime Minister also underscored the role of the Joint Higher Committee between Bahrain and Kuwait in enhancing co-operation across political, economic, investment, and administrative fields, wishing the committee success in its current session hosted by Bahrain. On his part, Mr Al Yahya commended Bahrain’s continued efforts to advance relations between the two countries and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
