HIS Majesty King Hamad received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Bahrain national handball team winning the Asian Handball Championship, hosted by Kuwait.
HRH Prince Salman congratulated His Majesty on the achievement, attributing the victory to the King’s continued support for Bahraini sport, which has contributed to the advancement of national teams and their success at regional and international competitions.
He emphasised that the title is a source of national pride and a significant sporting milestone, reflecting the advanced level of Bahraini sports and the dedication of the kingdom’s athletes, whose outstanding performance secured the championship for the first time.
