His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has directed for housing units to be granted to members of Bahrain’s senior men’s handball national team for their historic title triumph in the 22nd Asian Men’s Handball Championship, held in Kuwait.
The Bahrainis won the gold medals for the first time in the history of the biennial competition after finishing as runners-up five times in the past.
HM the King’s directives came as he received the team members at Al Safriya Palace.
