A petrol station sank into a massive sinkhole in New Cairo, Egypt. The facility collapsed into a 15-metre-deep crater, destroying shops on the site.
Two individuals were reportedly injured in the incident and were quickly transported to hospital for emergency treatment.
Initial investigations revealed that the collapse was triggered by nearby excavation work at a construction site. Further investigations are ongoing to determine necessary legal measures.
