Footage circulating on social media shows monks at the legendary Shaolin Temple performing martial arts drills alongside rows of humanoids. The video has elicited varied responses online, ranging from wonder to apprehension.
The robots can be seen moving in sync with the monks, replicating choreographed routines and complex drills inside the temple complex. The machines were developed by AgiBot, a Chinese robotics company that produces AI-powered humanoids designed for real-world environments.
Featuring human-like heads, arms, and legs, these robots are designed to mimic human movements with a high degree of naturalism—from martial arts and dancing to playing musical instruments.
