His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Tony Fernandes, Chief Executive Officer of Capital A Berhad, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to attracting investments and strengthening partnerships to support the growth of the aviation and logistics sector, reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a leading regional hub in line with the comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH stressed the importance of the aviation and logistics sector as a key driver of economic development and a critical pillar in enhancing the Kingdom’s overall competitiveness.
HRH highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with Capital A to achieve shared aspirations and support Bahrain’s efforts to enhance international air connectivity.
HRH emphasised the role of investments in creating quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens through training and employment, highlighting the importance of the national workforce in contributing to economic growth.
For his part, the CEO of Capital A recognised His Royal Highness's continued support of the aviation and logistics sector in the Kingdom, wishing Bahrain and its citizens continued progress and prosperity.
Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
