PARA BADMINTON – The curtain has fallen on the wheelchair category competitions (WH1-WH2) in the Bahrain BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026. Featuring an elite group of top-ranked athletes from around the world, the event showcased high-level competition.
During the victory ceremony, Badminton World Federation (BWF) para badminton vice-president Richard Perot honoured Bahrain Paralympic Committee (BPC) president Shaikh Mohamed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, BPC secretary general Ali Mohamed Al Majed, and tournament director Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in hosting the championship in a distinguished manner, which reflects Bahrain’s international standing in organising major sporting events.
