Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS) celebrated the kingdom’s Sports Day with a vibrant carnival that highlighted physical fitness and the holistic development of students.
Principal Saji Jacob inaugurated the event by releasing balloons, symbolising enthusiasm, unity and the spirit of healthy competition.
Students from all grades participated in a range of activities, including an obstacle race, 50‑metre dash and frog race.
The carnival also offered a variety of skill‑based and recreational stations such as the hula hoop race, math relay, ball race, directional jump challenge, cone‑to‑basket carry, number hopscotch and cup stacking.
Students – starting from grade three – engaged in competitive sports including football, cricket, basketball, volleyball and structured hula hoop sessions.
