National Council for Arts chairman and Bahrain Arts Society honorary president Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the patronage of the 52nd Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition.
He noted that the patronage reflects continued support for cultural and artistic activity, empowerment of artists, and the role of arts in reinforcing national identity and development.
He also thanked Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for inaugurating the exhibition on behalf of HRH Prince Salman.
He said this support enriches the Bahraini visual arts scene and reinforces the exhibition’s standing as a leading annual platform documenting the kingdom’s artistic development.
Shaikh Rashid praised the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) for organising the exhibition and enhancing its local and international presence, highlighting its role in showcasing national talent and opening opportunities for artists. He praised the high standard and diversity of participating works and congratulated the award winners for their contributions to enriching the cultural landscape.
He also noted the participation of art galleries offering artists opportunities to hold solo exhibitions, describing these initiatives as important support for sustaining artistic activity and expanding creative development.
He affirmed that the exhibition continues to support creativity and strengthen Bahrain’s position as an active cultural centre in the region.
