VIENNA - Heavy snow on Friday morning forced Vienna International Airport to halt flights, with take-offs currently expected to resume as of 9 am (0800 GMT) and landings as of 10 am, the company said in a statement.
Delays are, however, to be expected beyond the resumption of flights, it said. Of around 117 flights scheduled in and out of the airport on Friday morning until 9 am, 19 have been cancelled so far, it added.
