His Majesty King Hamad received a telephone call from Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.
President Minnikhanov expressed Tatarstan’s solidarity and support for the kingdom.
He condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain and affirmed his country’s backing for the measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty, security and national achievements.
His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain will continue its steadfast approach based on wisdom, moderation and the promotion of peace, while strengthening co-operation with its Arab, regional and international partners in a way that supports the security and stability of the region.
He also conveyed his appreciation for the supportive stance of Tatarstan and the solidarity expressed by President Minnikhanov, as well as his support for the kingdom.
