The Foreign Ministry summoned Ahmed Ismail Al Karawi, Charge d’Affaires of Iraqi Embassy in Bahrain, and conveyed Bahrain’s unequivocal condemnation and strong denunciation of the continued hostile drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory against the kingdom and GCC states.
Ministry director general of bilateral relations Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa delivered a formal note of protest to the Iraqi official, underscoring the urgent need for Iraq to address these attacks.
