Father and son Ross and Justin Clewley won the fourth competition of the current Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club, while another father and son, Navid and Taimur Malik, came second on count back after both pairs achieved scores of 31 points.
It was the second consecutive win for the Clewleys and puts them at the top of the series leaderboard with just two more competitions to go.
There was also a battle for third place in the Team Alliance competition after three pairings each achieved scores of 28 points. Ashley Price and playing partner Steve Middleton finally clinched it on count back, putting them in second place overall in the order of merit.
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Saud Al Sharif and David Wales, respectively.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Sheldon Cameron, the Club’s Golf Operations Manager, was on hand to distribute the prizes.
