Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received British Ambassador Alastair Long.
The minister highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and the UK, noting the mutual commitment to strengthening co-operation and expanding the strategic partnership across various key sectors, particularly in transportation and telecommunications.
He highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and benefiting from modern technologies to support infrastructure development and enhance the efficiency of the transport and communications systems.
The meeting also reviewed latest regional and international developments, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
For his part, the ambassador affirmed his country’s aspiration to further enhance joint co-operation to serve shared interests and support development paths in both countries.
