Thirty-seven legislators have officially signed to revoke the membership of three MPs.
The signing was held today at the National Assembly Complex in Gudaibiya.
They said the three MPs - first deputy speaker Abdulnabi Salman, services committee chairman Mamdooh Al Saleh and services committee member Dr Mahdi Al Shuwaikh - adopted a position critical of state measures taken against individuals accused of glorifying Iranian attacks against Bahrain, including the revocation of citizenship.
The names of the signees was read out by Parliament’s secretary-general Mohammed Al Sissi Al Buainain.
Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam referred the request to the legislative and legal affairs committee for review.
Their recommendation will be announced today ahead of tomorrow's session, where the vote will be made.
