Commanders of units, heads of divisions, officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel of the National Guard performed Eid Al Adha prayers at Sakhir Camp Mosque.
The worshippers listened to the Eid sermon delivered by the mosque’s imam, who opened with praise and gratitude to Allah Almighty for His blessings and grace, followed by prayers.
The sermon highlighted the noble meanings of Eid Al Adha and the rituals performed by pilgrims undertaking Haj, which embody the values of brotherhood, compassion and solidarity.
Prayers were also offered to Allah Almighty to safeguard Bahrain, preserve its security and stability, and accept the worship and devotion of all.
National Guard officers and personnel extended their sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, on the occasion.
They also extended congratulations to National Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to National Guard Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, praying for the occasion to return upon Bahrain with continued blessings, prosperity and progress for many years to come.
