His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (28) of 2026 appointing directors at the Interior Ministry, based on a proposal by the Interior Minister.
According to the edict, Lieutenant Colonel Ammar Abdullah Saad Al Huwaihi, Major Fawaz Hassan Isa Al Sameem and Major Ali Najem Ali Al Mannai have been appointed as directors at the ministry.
The Interior Minister will assign them to vacant directorates at the ministry in accordance with the responsibilities and duties of each directorate, the requirements for each post, and with due regard to their qualifications and experience.
The Interior Minister will implement the provisions of the edict, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also issued Edict (29) of 2026 appointing a director at the general secretariat of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, based on the proposal of the SCYS chairman.
Sara Nooh Isa Al Zowaid has been appointed director of the Planning, Policy and Follow-up Directorate succeeding Noura Ahmed Al Balooshi.
The SCYS chairman will implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
