His Majesty King Hamad issued Decree (37) of 2026 appointing two assistant under-secretaries at the Labour Ministry, based on a proposal by the Labour Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
As per the decree, May Hassan Ali Al Asmi, director of labour relations at the Labour Ministry will be appointed assistant under-secretary for labour at the ministry.
Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, director of the wages protection directorate at the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), will be appointed assistant under-secretary for labour relations at the Labour Ministry, succeeding Aqeel Abdali Bu Hussain.
The Labour Minister will implement the provisions of this decree, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty also issued Decree (38) of 2026 appointing a deputy chief executive officer of the LMRA, based on a proposal by the Labour Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to the decree, Fatima Al Sayed Redha Ibrahim, director of projects at the Prime Minister’s Office, will be appointed deputy CEO for policies and market data at the LMRA.
The Labour Minister will implement the provisions of this decree, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (38) of 2026 appointing directors at the Labour Ministry based on a proposal by the Labour Minister.
Heba Saeed Saleh Al Banaa will be appointed director of compensations and unemployment support at the ministry, succeeding Fawzia Saleh Al Shehab.
Hala Mohammed Salman Al Malki will be appointed director of the labour relations directorate at the ministry, succeeding May Hassan Al Asmi.
Ahmed Jameel Yousef Al Saffar will be appointed director of the employment directorate at the ministry, succeeding Hussain Ali Al Shami.
Abdullah Yousef Abdulla Al Ammari will be appointed director of the manpower development directorate at the ministry, succeeding Essam Ismail Al Alawi.
The Labour Minister will implement the provisions of this decision, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also issued Edict (39) of 2026 appointing a director at the LMRA, based on a proposal by the Labour Minister and chairman of the board of directors of the LMRA.
Mohammed Abdulmonem Mohammed Al Eid will be appointed director of the legal affairs directorate at the LMRA, succeeding Mohammed Ahmed Mattar Al Busmait.
The Labour Minister and chairman of the board of directors of the LMRA will implement the provisions of this decision, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
