TABLE TENNIS – BAHRAIN’S table tennis national teams will depart to compete in the West Asia Table Tennis Championship, taking place in Amman, Jordan from Wednesday to August 19. The kingdom’s squad will be competing in singles and doubles competitions across the meeting’s various age categories, including under-11, under-13, under-15, under-17, and seniors.
The national teams held intensive morning and evening training sessions in preparation for the West Asia championship, with the Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) bringing in players from Türkiye and Egypt to further enhance the competitiveness of the practices.
BTTA president Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa met with Bahrain’s players along with the technical and administrative staff and commended their efforts and commitment throughout the preparation period. Shaikha Hayat wished the team success in achieving strong results at the Jordanian capital.
