TAEKWONDO – BAHRAIN Taekwondo Federation president Abdulla Isa Aldoy met with South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain Choi Byung-sun to discuss the arrangements and preparations for the sixth edition of the Korean Ambassador’s Taekwondo Cup, scheduled to take place on September 25 and 26 in the kingdom.
Aldoy stressed the federation’s keenness to translate the directives of General Sports Authority deputy chairman and Bahrain Combat Sports Council president Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa into realistic action plans that ensure this distinguished championship is organised at the highest level and with professional efficiency, reflecting the advanced position combat sports have in Bahrain.
The meeting addressed a number of key organisational and technical topics, including the continuous coordination and follow-up with the South Korean Embassy to ensure the event’s success.
Aldoy expressed his thanks and appreciation to the South Korean Embassy for their fruitful efforts and continuous support for Bahraini taekwondo.
