Iraqi Civil Defence officers rescued two men trapped atop a rooftop communications tower after a large fire broke out inside a building in central Baghdad’s Karrada district.

Emergency teams also rescued and evacuated 50 other people on Sunday before bringing the blaze under control.
Authorities said the fire was triggered by grease build-up inside a restaurant’s exhaust fan before spreading through the building. No casualties were reported.
