Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi toured Youth City 2030 yesterday, accompanied by a number of ministers and senior officials.
They reviewed the training programmes, specialised workshops and activities hosted by the city, as well as the spaces and opportunities it provides for young people to gain knowledge and experience and develop skills in a range of vital fields.
Ms Tawfiqi affirmed that investing in Bahraini youth is a key pillar of the kingdom’s continued national development.
She stressed that the care and support accorded to young people by His Majesty King Hamad reflect a firm belief in their role in shaping the future and reinforce efforts to provide an environment where they can develop their capabilities and turn their energies and ideas into meaningful contributions to society.
The minister also noted that the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, have contributed to strengthening investment in national talent and creating greater opportunities for young people to acquire the skills needed to continue learning and developing and to participate across various fields.
