His Majesty King Hamad issued Decree (41) of 2026 appointing a member to the board of directors of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulates that Khalid Ali Yousif Abdulrahman will be appointed as a member of the RERA board of directors, succeeding Basem Mohammed Al Saei, for the remainder of the current board’s term.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each in their respective capacity, will implement the provisions of this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty also issued Decree (42) of 2026 appointing a member to the board of directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulates that Hassan Bader Ahmed Kaiksow will be appointed as a member of the LMRA board of directors, succeeding Mohammed Abduljabbar Mahmood Al Kooheji, for the remainder of the current board’s term.
The Prime Minister, the Labour Minister and the Legal Affairs Minister, each in their respective capacity, shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty issued Decree (43) of 2026 appointing a member to the board of trustees of the University of Bahrain (UoB), based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulates that Yousif Salahuddin Ibrahim Salahuddin will be appointed as a member of the UoB board of trustees, succeeding Sonia Mohammed Janahi, for the remainder of the current board’s term.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each in their respective capacity, shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty also issued Decree (44) of 2026 designating the competent authority pursuant to Decree-Law (35) of 2025 on approving the Unified System (Law) for International Land Transport between the GCC member states, based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulates that the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry shall be the competent authority pursuant to Article (II) of Decree-Law (35) of 2025.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each in their respective capacity, shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
