Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani separately held telephone calls with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates Dr Badr Abdelatty, and Pakistan’s Deputy
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
He reviewed with them the close relations between Bahrain and their countries and discussed ways to further strengthen co-operation across areas of mutual interest.
They also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions, preserve regional security and stability, and ensure freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab.
They exchanged views on current challenges, efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote peace in the region, strengthening joint Arab co-operation, and continued bilateral coordination and consultation in international forums, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
