Bahrain and Oman have stressed the importance of ensuring freedom of maritime navigation in all international waterways.
During a telephone call yesterday, His Majesty King Hamad and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman stressed that this will contribute to supporting international trade and enhancing global economic stability.
The leaders reviewed the deep-rooted relations between the two countries.
They also discussed latest regional and international developments as well as issues of common interest.
His Majesty praised the prominent role played by Oman and its efforts to reach an agreement that would ensure the return of freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
His Majesty extended his best wishes to the Sultan and to Oman for continued progress and prosperity.
