ONGOING efforts to strengthen regional security were discussed when His Majesty King Hamad held talks with UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
His Majesty, who was visiting the UAE, also discussed regional developments with Shaikh Mohammed yesterday.
The leaders reviewed bilateral relations and means to advance co-operation, particularly in the economic and development sectors, in support of the two countries’ development priorities and shared interests.
His Majesty commended the UAE’s steadfast support for Bahrain under all circumstances.
This, he said, has contributed to strengthening Bahrain’s efforts and capabilities in addressing various challenges.
His Majesty and the UAE President expressed pride in the long-standing relations between the kingdom and the UAE.
They reiterated their commitment to strengthening co-operation, particularly in addressing the shared challenges facing the region.
