Kuwaiti authorities have arrested a 45-year-old expatriate tailor accused of posing as an Interior Ministry officer to defraud women.
The Pakistani suspect allegedly tailored a fake police uniform with brigadier rank epaulettes and adopted the local Kuwaiti dialect to gain the trust of his victims, claiming he could expedite government transactions for them.
The suspect reportedly confessed to impersonation during questioning, as investigations into the full extent of the fraud continue.
