A HIGH-LEVEL Swiss business delegation led by Swiss Ambassador Arthur Mattli will participate in Fintech Forward 2026 (FF26), taking place at Exhibition World Bahrain tomorrow and Thursday.
Organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) alongside Swiss trade bodies, the visit brings together eight leading Swiss financial services and fintech firms to explore regional investment opportunities and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The delegation’s itinerary includes high-level engagements with key ecosystem stakeholders, including the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), Tamkeen, Bahrain FinTech Bay, and Benefit. Delegates will also engage directly with CBB’s licensing and strategy teams, showcase their solutions at FF26, and experience a cultural tour of the Muharraq Pearling Path.
The visit builds on momentum from June 2026, when Sustainable Development Minister and EDB chief executive Noor Alkhulaif led a Bahraini delegation to Zurich and Geneva.
Ambassador Mattli noted that the initiative builds on a strong foundation of trade and innovation synergies, offering valuable avenues for cross-border partnerships. Hosted by EDB and supported by CBB, Tamkeen, BTEA, and BFB – with programming by Forbes Middle East – FF26 focuses on the theme ‘Finance in the Age of Intelligent Infrastructure.’
