A man killed his son by shooting him twice – in the head and in the chest. He then dumped the body out of the car in Ali Sabah Al-Salem (Umm Al-Haiman) area and fled from the scene. He later threw the murder weapon in the desert and burnt his car.
The case came to light when the son’s body was found by the police. After investigations, the father confessed to having committed the crime.
According to the accused, his son had threatened to kill him and had even come home one day with a weapon. Fearing for his life, the father chose to kill his son instead.
