Manama: An online service has been launched that allows GCC residents to apply for entry visas to the UAE through a portal called ‘Fawri’. The service, which aims at speeding up visa process for passengers, is accessible through the ministry’s website www.moi.gov.ae and smart app.
Residents of GCC and those accompanying them can now get their UAE entry permits from various ports across the country.
Visa on arrival service can be availed by businessmen, investors, partners, accountants, auditors, doctors, engineers, lawyers, legal advisers. Public sector workers other than labourers and GCC truck drivers transporting goods from any of the GCC countries can also get entry permit on arrival.
