Two female students were spotted leaving their private school while classes were going on in the district of Hawali in Kuwait, according to Al Rai newspaper.
One student jumped from a four-metre-high boundary wall while her friend was waiting for her.
A passerby witnessed the scene and posted it on social media, sparking calls for the ministry of education to clamp down on students who play truant.
Education Ministry Undersecretary Dr Haitham Al Athari said that the school will be urged to take the necessary measures.
