Public sector employees will have a day off on Sunday marking Renaissance Day, which falls on July 23, according to ONA.
Royal Court Diwan Minister, Civil Service Council chairman Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi today announced the public holiday.
Ministries, government departments and other public sector departments will remain closed, he said in a statement.
July 23 will also be a holiday for private sector employees.
