FOOTBALL – BANGLA United Football Club were crowned champions of the Probashi Bangla Eid Cup 2026.
The tournament was organised by Greater Barishal Welfare Association Bahrain and it was held at Um Al Hassam Club. Four of the best Bangladeshi football clubs in the kingdom participated in the event.
Bangla United FC clinched the title after defeating Chittagong Tiger Football Club 1-0 in the final.
The competition’s chief guest was Bangladesh Ambassador Md Rais Hasan Sarower, ndc.
Also present were Bangladesh Embassy labour counsellor Mahfuzur Rahman, Bangladeshi community leaders and many expatriate Bangladeshis.
The ambassador thanked the organising committee, all the participating teams and the expatriate Bangladeshi spectators for making the tournament successful and enjoyable.
