Eggs sold in shopping outlets will have to feature the dates of production and expiry.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry instructed egg-producing companies to comply with the measure, which will take effect on the first of January.
A source from the ministry said that some firms had already started featuring the dates of production and expiry on the basis of a four-month validity.
