Muscat: The test passenger flight took off this morning at 11.15 AM from the new state-of-the-art Muscat International Airport.
Oman Air Flight WY2001 signalled the beginning of a series of tests to ensure all the airport facilities and terminals are operational before its official opening to the public, reports Times of Oman.
Oman's Public Authority for Civil Aviation Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi opened the new passenger terminal, in the presence of officials, media figures and representatives of the social networking sectors.
