Riyadh: The 19th edition of the Saudi International Wedding Fair is proving a success, according to Saudi Gazette.
The 2018 women-only exhibition which opened last Thursday at the Jeddah Hilton has attracted hundreds of brides-to-be over the past two days
Saudi women planning to get married find all they need for their upcoming wedding ceremonies, including jewellery, pefumes, cosmetics, decorations and gifts in addition to a rich array of other bridal accessories.
The first ever fashion has also been scheduled on the sidelines of the bridal fair, showcasing the creations of 160 Saudi, GCC and international companies.
The organising company has received full support from the Saudi Entertainment Authority, which lined up an array of more than 5,000 events for 2018.
Princess Mudi bint Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Saudi opened the three-day fair, describing Saudi women as “essential partners in their country's development process”.
Latest studies estimate that Saudis spend up to SAR2 billion annually on wedding clothes and other bridals accessories, making it the biggest market in the GCC region.
