As curtains fall on the fifth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2018, organisers announced that the show witnessed visitor numbers crossing 30,000.
Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed announced this at a press conference at the Sakhir Airbase, the venue of the event held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad and the supervision of
Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty and Chairman of BIAS Supreme Organising Committee.
The three-day show was organised by the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry and Royal Bahraini Airforce in association with Farnborough International Ltd.

A first-of-its-kind conference focusing on women in aviation has kicked off the third and final day at the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2018.
Current and future female pilots from Bahrain and the region have gathered at the Sakhir Airbase.
The conference is also attended by Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed, Bahrain Airport Company chief executive Mohammed Yousif Al Binfalah and others.
