UAE: A woman beggar posing as a victim of a failed marriage, has succeeded in collecting $50,000 (AED184,000) in a matter of 17 days.
She posted the photos of her children on her social media accounts, claiming that she is incapable of raising her children and meeting their needs, said Dubai Police criminal investigation department (CID) Director Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jallaf.
Her ex-husband took to the Dubai Police's online platform “eCrime” and told officers that their children have been living with him for years decently, complaining about his divorcee’s behaviour.
