Kuwait: Lulwa Al Mulla, Chairperson of Kuwait's Women's Cultural and Social Society was honoured by Malaysia with the Muslim World Rania Award, for her contributions to women's rights in Kuwait and the Muslim World.
Al Mulla's son, Saleh Al Nafisi, received the award during a ceremony at an event of the Muslim World Business and Investment Zone, on Friday.
Layla Rani, director of the event, stated that Al Mulla had made great cultural and social contributions to Kuwait and internationally.
The Muslim World Rania Award is presented in recognition of efforts by female leaders and to appreciate their contributions.
